ONYE EGWU

Onyeegwu tells the story of Alex Mbanefo, a renowned footballer with the nickname “Onye Egwu,” who encounters severe injuries, forcing him to face the harsh reality that his playing days are over. His sister tells him that her pastor revealed that his estranged wife used dark magic to sabotage his career. Meanwhile, a young footballer, Chinedum, from a slum village, idolises Onye Egwu, but his mum constantly discourages him from pursuing his passion. However, he secretly continues to pursue his dreams with his brother, Ahannam. As Alex searches for a way to revive his career, Chinedum wonders if his budding talent will get to the global stage.
